People often ask me, “How long does it take to make a 30-second video?”

The answer: longer than you think—and that’s what I love about it.

In this post, I want to take you behind the edits—the part most people never see, but where the content really comes to life. My process always starts with intention. Whether it’s for a brand, a campaign, or a personal project, I begin by asking: What’s the message, and who is it for?

From there, I plan the visuals, scout or organize footage, choose a tone, and begin building a story that aligns with the audience. This phase isn’t about perfection—it’s about trying things, reworking them, and seeing how each element contributes to the final feel.

Then comes the technical side: selecting the right music, matching the rhythm, adjusting color tones, trimming clips, fine-tuning transitions, and making sure everything flows. Sometimes it takes hours to get a few seconds just right. But it’s worth it—because the difference between good and great content is often in the smallest details.

The edit isn’t just where content is cleaned up—it’s where it’s crafted. It’s where strategy meets creativity and where I bring the vision to life.

So next time you see a video that makes you feel something, remember—there’s a whole world of intention, patience, and creative choices behind the edit.
